Metabolic analysis is performed using a special measuring device that analyzes the cellular metabolic type within seconds on the palm of a patient’s hand. In this non-invasive screening method, a probe measures the fluorescence of the body’s own metabolic substances.

Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) is a measurement method in which low-frequency current is passed through the body. Due to the varying conductivity of different tissues in the body (bone, body fat, skeletal muscle), the body’s resistance to electrical current flow (the so-called bioelectrical impedance) can be measured. For this, the patient stands barefoot on the scanner. Based on the results, it is then possible to determine the composition of the body’s tissues.
