The 1:1 or 3-5D eyelash technique is intended to give eyelashes more visual fullness, length and curl.

In the 1:1 method, a single artificial eyelash is applied to each natural eyelash. This is intended to visually lengthen the eyelashes and give them a beautiful curl.

In volume lash extensions , depending on whether it’s a 3D or 5D technique, several artificial lashes are applied to a single natural lash. The artificial lashes are fanned out around the natural lashes to frame them and give them more volume. The volume technique aims to give the lashes the appearance of more fullness, length, and curl.
